I am particularly interested in muco-obstructive lung diseases (asthma, COPD, non-CF bronchiectasis), with a focus on the pathophysiology and therapeutic modulation of mucus properties. My research combines clinical insight with translational approaches, including preclinical models and biophysical analyses, to better understand mucus viscosity regulation and epithelial dysfunction. Through academic and hospital-based collaborations, I aim to contribute to the development of targeted therapies that improve outcomes for patients with chronic airway diseases.
