Abstract
This work package will focus on reviewing Sustainable Tourism, Hospitality and Resource Management curricula and current practices in the EU partners involved in the action and in a wider context focusing in particular the diverse Caribbean contexts. It will also survey and analyse the level of awareness of environmental protection issues, related firstly to economic activities in general and secondly to the specificity of the tourist sector in the several countries involved in the action. The post-conflict situation in Colombia will be analised to include the IDP and victims approach.-Report on national issues and environmental threats in coastal territories in Latin America and ACP countries (D1.1). -Report on policies for environmental resource management in West Indies, Colombia and Costa Rica (D1.2)-Report on training paths in resource management and sustainability in Costa Rica and West Indies (D1.3)-Report on training needs in resource management and sustainability in the diverse coastal contexts of Colombia and Costa Rica (D1.4)-Analysis of the required academic processes in PCs HEIs in order to activate the 2 new Masters degrees and the set of new courses in the existing graduate (master) course degrees (D1.5)-Analysis of the involvement strategy to include and assess the post-conflict situation and IDPs educational and career problems (D 1.6)
