Abstract

Autonomous Vehicles Robot Navigation Architecture Control Software Scheduling Algorithms
The need to operate in deep water and to perform simultaneously several scientific tasks, leads AUV software control to be designed according to modularity and evolutionarity aims. A software control architecture applied to the AUV TAIPAN is presented. Instrumentation conflicts problem on underwater vehicles is introduced and a solution is proposed.
