Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for extracting one or more metals M selected from gold and platinum group metals contained in an acidic aqueous phase A1. This process comprises the following steps: (a) bringing the acidic aqueous phase A1 into contact with a water-immiscible phase A2, whereby, after phase separation, an aqueous phase A1' and a phase A2' comprising the metal(s) M are obtained; then (b) collecting the phase A2'. Phase A2 is selected from a phase A21 comprising a malonamide and an ionic liquid LI, and a phase A22 comprising a functionalized ionic liquid LIF comprising a malonamide group. The invention also relates to a process for recovering metal(s) M which implements this extraction process.
