Abstract
I will discuss some of the features of a family of non-semisimple generalizations of the quantum representations of mapping class groups of Witten, Reshetikhin, and Turaev. In the non-semisimple case, images of Dehn twists have infinite order, and representations admit a homological model which sheds light on their remarkable properties.
