Abstract
The technological context of smart and precision agriculture has created great hope for crop protection.Yet, the protection of vine against downy and powdery mildews is still a challenge for the reduction ofpesticide input and is thus an adequate case study about contribution of ICT to this objective. Weanalyse in this communication the stakes of precision, and imprecisions, in spraying, with respect toboth temporal and spatial dimensions. We underline the interest of implementing ICT systems, sensors,traceability means, decision support tools and data and knowledge sharing, in order to bring farmers,advisers, and the profession in general, the means of a locally appropriable learning of the methods andrisks of low enough input management.
