Abstract
This narrative literature review challenges traditional performance metrics in agricultural cooperatives, advocating for a shift towards a balance-oriented approach. The idea is to balance the various objectives pursued by cooperatives rather than maximizing one or more of them. This new perspective on cooperative performance highlights the concept of organizational survival and aligns with the growing importance of organizational sustainability and resilience.
