Résumé
Berried
Homarus gammarus (L.) females were reared at three constant temperatures (10, 15 and 20°C), and the rates of development of their embryos monitored by measuring embryonic eye index according to Perkins. An equation relating the increase in eye index to temperature was established, yielding the estimated time to hatch at different temperatures. It may be used to approximate the rate of hatch according to rearing temperature in
H. gammarus.
