Abstract

(Poly)alkoxymethylphosphine oxides were synthesized by the Williamson reaction starting from (poly)hydroxymethyl or (poly)chloromethyl-phosphine oxides. For the first time, the use of phase transfer catalysis for the synthesis of (O)PCOC bridges is demonstrated
