Problematization is a core process in any research project, quantitative or qualitative. It clarifies the reasoning logic underlying the project. It determines rigorously both the construction and realization of the research topic, regarding both data collection and analysis methods. The problematization process is a four-stage construction including preparatory, exploratory, problematical and pragmatic phases. This instructive article offers a methodological perspective to help trainees in general practice improve their research works.
