Résumé
Based on an in-depth interview research, this article intends to consider the activities of assistants and guides of Paralympic athletes as care activities. It focuses on the differences, both objective, perceived and staged, berween the care activities of assistants and those of guides. The results show that assistants and guides perceive their care activities differently, and that their perceptions tend to celebrate those activities that are perceived as being the most sporty and to invisibilize those that are related to the accomplishment of the daily life activities of Paralympic athletes. Finally, the article explains that assistants and guides consider that these classificatory logics have an impact on their recognition within the staffs and that they can have effects on the relationships they have with the paralympic athletes and the other members of the staffs.
