Directors of SMEs, like all company directors, are frequently in contact with a range of people both in and out of their business. These contacts enable them to develop relational activities which may be of help in the running of their businesses. Within this framework, some choose to join associations or clubs of company directors and notably the type which we will call here directors' clubs with a vocation of analysis into company management techniques. The objective of this article is to evaluate the extent to which these types of networks can help managers of small businesses in their decision-making activities.
