Abstract
During routine inventories of the flora of Kabylia, we were able to make theregional rediscovery in Aït Ziki (wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou) of Squilla anthericoides(syn. Charybdis anthericoides, Drimia anthericoides, Scilla anthericoides, Urgineaanthericoides, Urginea maritima var. anthericoides), an endemic to northeasternAlgeria that had not been seen in Kabylia since the end of the 19th century. Thispoorly known species was rehabilitated in 2016 only, which is why we providehere a complementary historical and ecological assessment for this autumn-flowering geophyte listed on the IUCN Red List
