Research in social sciences interesting in the prison's field seems, recently, to move the glance towards the jail experience of young prisoner in order to analyze the socialization induced by the prison disciplinary devices. Until then, the investigations concern the "quartiers mineurs". We suggest investigating the socialization processes of the prisoners incarcerated in "Etablissement penitentiaire pour mineurs" (EPM). By positioning collective times in the heart of the detention system, this "new" prison presents a favorable ground to study the ongoing socialization process. Partially re-appropriated by the jailed teenagers through so-called "surcodage sexue" forms of practice, these collective times lead to exacerbated gender's demonstration, often prohibited but inherent to the configurations generated by the new system of detention promoted by the EPM.
