In a global scope, we observe how the global economiccrisis of 2008 and the severe Spanish crisis seem to have reoriented migration flows toward arise of regional destinations undergoing economic growth (Argentina, Brazil, Chile). In amore qualitative approach, resting on fieldwork interviews with Bolivian migrants in Spain,we eventually discuss the factors that reorient migrants’ strategies (staying, returning or goingelsewhere).
