Résumé
Food-processing SMEs are confronted with the diffusion of the ISO 9000 standards. These standards are likely to call into question principal specificities of SMEs. The aim of this paper is to appraise the strategic and organizational impact of ISO 9000 standards. We questioned a sample of managers in the food processing industry. The results show that the structure and the entrepreneurial orientation of the firms engaged in a process of certification are different from other SMEs.
