Abstract
Mobilier métallique des environs de 300 av. J.-C. découvert au Valat de Ligno à Roujan, Hérault : dépôt funéraire ou cultuel ? par Bernard DEDET et Ghislain BAGANAbstract A set of iron objects, dating from the second half of the 4th century or the first half of the 3rd century BC, a sword in its scabbard, a spear point and a slicer, all twisted and bent, as well as a shod stick end and a fibula, were discovered in the Valat de Ligno in Roujan (Hérault ), in a poorly defined context but which seems to be indirectly linked to the field investigations carried out in the early 1980s near the temples of an ancient town. In the absence of any information on the circumstances of this find and on the presence or absence of human bone remains, it is not known whether they are remains of a tomb or of a religious deposit related to these temples.
