Résumé

Flu viruses, also called influenza viruses, are negative-sense single stranded segmented RNA viruses belonging to the Orthomyxoviridae family (from the Greek words orthós for straight, and mýxa for mucus). Influenza A viruses (IAV) genome consist of eight segments in total, with each harbouring one or more viral genes. IAV are circulating among humans, pigs, horses, bats and wild and domestic birds (in particular waterfowl). They are classified based on their surface proteins [...].
