Abstract
The broadening of the national route 145 between Guéret and Montluçon opened up the opportunity of saving excavations of a small rural Roman settlement in the commune of Parsac (Creuse). It was possible to identify two buildings, one of them constructed on a stone foundation, and some home management annexes (wells, potter kiln,...) as well. This ensemble which function is determined uncertainly is characterized by a relatively short life span (last decades of IInd century p. C. and a beginning of IIIrd). The ensemble may be a part of the fragmented network related to communication lines.
