Abstract
The revival of citizen commitment by ICT divides the scien-tific community between, on one side, the cyber-optimists and, of the other one, the cyber-realists. Considering the increase of the internet users and the hybridization of online practices, this article argues that we need to rethink our internet approach. That is why we propose a case study on French political bloggers. We panelized them. Showing why the political blogs do not constitute, according to us, favorable media to develop political expression among “ordinary citizens”, we analyze the sociology and the trajectories of these political bloggers
