Au sein de la plaine comtadine (Vaucluse, France), et plus particulièrement de l'agglomération avignonnaise, l'article constate la résistance de l'activité agricole, viticole (vins A.O.C.), maraîchère et fruitière. Mais la régression de la S.A.U. et la transformation du paysage pourraient se voir accélérés par les difficultés que connaissent les maraîchers comtadins, qui fragilisent l'agriculture par rapport au processus d'urbanisation. La «ceinture verte» de la ville d'Avignon paraît particulièrement menacée. In the comtadin plain (Vaucluse, France), and mostly in the urban area of Avignon, the paper insists on the resistance of agriculture (wine growing (A.O.C. wines), market gardening and fruits production). But the decline of the cultivated areas and the transformation of the landscape may be speeded up by the problems of the market gardeners of the Comtat, that weaken agriculture in relation to urbanization process. The «green belt» of Avignon seems to be particularly menaced.
