Abstract
The Gardon d'Anduze river had a specific role in the discovery of the liable to fooding areas hydrogeomorphological method as well as in the development of this method. It got a good place in the first synthetic presentation of the method (M. MASSON et al, 1996) then in some later development such as mapping, study of flood plain evolution and discovery of functional glacis.
