Résumé

Africa Agricultural Policy, Food Policy (Q18) Agricultural R&D, Agricultural Technology, Biofuels, Agricultural Extension Services (Q16) Chad Development Economic Development: Agriculture, Natural Resources, Energy, Environment, Other Primary Products (O13) Micro Analysis of Farm Firms, Farm Households, and Farm Input Markets (Q12) Project Analysis (O22)
Based on singular events arising during field research on pastoral hydraulics in the Chad, and on a more general argument on the methods of survey and the interventions of projects in Africa, this text deals with the mobilization and the instrumentalization of the research in social sciences by the system of public aid. It proposes to consider conditions essential to scientific production of development, given the procedures and the characteristics of the current foreign aid system.
