Résumé
This article puts into perspective a research-creation approach based on Daniel Mendelsohn’s work: The Lost: A search for six of six million. Contemporary literary creation seeks to create an « effect of reality » by using protocols that enable us to write about the past and reconstruct the trajectories of missing lives. We show how this can be achieved through the use of archives, and what creative issues are at stake.
