Abstract
The hydrogeomorphological mapping is recommended by French Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development and Ministry of Equipment for determining flood risk zones. It applies the principles of the French 1/50 000 geomorpholgical map. It permits to localize the different river beds and to estimate flood risk.
