Abstract
The Aspre del Paradis site, located on Corneilla-del-Vercol, Pyrénées-Orientales, has provided several Neolithic structures revealed by the excavation of a Late Antiquity occupation. Two of these structures (n° 5 et 6), comparable to storage pits, have been secondarily filled on with various artefacts. The third (n° 15) and last, is almost sterile. The study of artefacts (ceramics, fauna, etc.) reveals two distinct occupation periods during the Neolithic. The artefact provided by each storage pits are described and replaced in their regional chrono-cultural context. The first period is related to the Early Neolithic, at the turning points of the fifteen and sixteen millenaries before Christ (Late Cardial, Early Epicardial). Because of the scarcity of open-air sites, during this period, this discovery is remarkable. The second period is characteristic of the Late Neolithic. Especially because of the abundance of cob, it offers the evidence of a well established habitat
