Abstract
The Gay Games creation results part from homophobia, part from the desire to fight for sexual minorities. They do not only use sports rules, they also criticize sport values, specialy performance and the philosophy of competitive athletics. The paper shows how the Gay Games are involved in three different ethic purpose : first among the LGBT community, second to dispel the prevailing attitudes in sport regarding ageism, homophobia, sexism and racism, and then to change the perception of homosexuality.
