Résumé
Bien que le droit soit une matière non prise en compte dans l’enseignement secondaire, où elle n’est dispensée que comme une option ou dans la filière technique STMG, les options critiques ouvertes par le mouvement « droit et littérature » trouvent actuellement un écho notable dans l’enseignement du français. Ce dossier s’interroge donc sur les origines et les enjeux d’un tel succès : pourquoi et comment, en classe, enseigner un matériau littéraire nourri par une réflexion sur la justice et le droit ? En quoi les études Droit et littérature offrent-elles de nouvelles perspectives pour l’enseignement du français dans le secondaire ? Although law is a subject not taken into account in secondary education, where it is only taught as an option or in the STMG technical studies, the critical options opened up by “Law and Literature” are currently finding a notable echo in the teaching of French. This issue therefore questions the origins and challenges of such a success: why and how, in the classroom, should literature be taught that is informed by a reflection on justice and law? How do Law and Literature studies offer new perspectives for the teaching of French in secondary education?
