Abstract
This article focuses on the relationship between body and work, based on an investigation inspired by the psychodynamics of work. Drawing on the experiences of nursing staff working with handicapped residents, the author considers the connection between the engagement of the body at work, new public management and triggers of psychopathological disorders.
