Résumé

Curriculum System Innovation Communication Majors Big Data Analytics New Media Technology
This study explores curriculum innovation for communication majors, focusing on the integration of new media technology and big data analytics. As industry demands for interdisciplinary talents rise, current communication curricula often fall behind. This research proposes a restructured curriculum based on the “Three-Dimensional Integration” principle, combining knowledge, skills, and application, and leveraging the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) and CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) frameworks. Survey data from 3,200 students across six universities shows that the proposed curriculum enhances students' technical skills and employability. Challenges identified include an imbalance between technological and communication competencies, limited data ethics education, and unequal distribution of educational resources. The study provides both theoretical and practical insights, offering a reference for institutions aiming to align communication programs with the evolving needs of the digital media era.
