Résumé
This paper uses a model developed by T. Tabuchi (1993). It examines simultaneously the travelers' scheduling behavior during peak period congestion and the commuters modal split between car and mass transit for the journey to work. Contrary to his model, our analysis focuses on travel time costs. In such a case, the aim of our paper is to shed light on efficiency of urban road toll.
