Understanding and preserving the global ecosystem of the earth is mainly based on our ability to detect the impacts of different disturbances, especially by accumulating high frequencies time series. The most adapted answer to respond this need for knowledge seems to depend upon observation tools development. Based on reefs colonies, mussel's shells measures results and internal calcified structures of teleosteen fish, this article shows how isotopic measures of oxygen and lead give access to a better understanding of environmental disturbances.
