Abstract
The mass analyzed ion kinetic energy spectra and collisionally activated dissociations of the title ions (i.e., isomers of I) show that isomerizations are very slow and do not occur before fragmentations which are fast. The system is contrasted to the behavior of the PhCH2+-tropylium system.
