Résumé
Descriptions, illustrations, distribution maps and conservation assessments are provided for four new species of Codia from New Caledonia in the south-west Pacific. Codia jaffrei H. C. Hopkins & B. Fogliani and C. mackeeana H. C. Hopkins & B. Fogliani are quite large trees, occurring in forest on ultramafic and non-ultramafic substrates respectively, while C. belepensis H. C. Hopkins and C. triverticillata H. C. Hopkins & Pillon are shrubs in ultramafic scrub ('maquis'). Codia triverticillata is the second species in the genus with whorled, rather than opposite, leaves.
