Feldspar-bearing lherzolite xenoliths were identified in alkali basalts from the Hamar-Daban range near Lake Baikal in southern Siberia Russia. Evidence indicates the results of recent phenomena associated with the infiltration of an alkali-rich, water-poor fluid into spinel peridotites.
