Equilibrium data for ion exchange in chelating resins were experimentally studied and equilibrium constants were obtained in order to determine activity coefficients in solid phase. Activity coefficients in these systems change with metal concentration and the ionic strength of the solution. Results are similar to the data available for cationic resins, in particular when the same counter-ion is used.
