The genus Morchella in the Balearic Islands (Spain): Morchella disparilis Loizides & P.-A. Moreau.
Morchella disparilis is here reported as a new record in the Balearic Islands and, also, confirmed for Spain, based on samples collected from Mallorca Island. A detailed description of the macro and microscopic characters and the phylogenetic analysis of the studied material are included. In addition, notes on its taxonomy, ecology, chorology and distribution are provided, as well as some iconographies, including specimens with pink colorations, never described for this rare species.
