Abstract
The border needs to be considered in all its complexity, at several levels, especially in the humanities and even more so in the field of media and narrative arts. While intermediality and transmediality have succeeded in breaking down all media borders for decades, the fact remains that these phenomena of media migration also involve strategic, economic and vital issues, just as they do for migrants. Before turning to the virtues of artification and transmedia, it is worth recalling the Spanish and European migratory and humanitarian context that forms the backdrop to the three works in our corpus. We will then present and analyse some of the structuring elements of each of the three works selected. Finally, we will look at the issue of media migration and, more specifically, the role of artification as a passport to a promising media elsewhere.
