Abstract
Research and conservation of palm species relies on training new generations ofpalm biologists, especially in tropical countries. Such trainings pave the way toanswer new questions related to palm biology, sustainable management, thecultural and economic links between humans and palms, and build conservationstrategies through education and civil empowerment.
