Résumé
The effect of the dealumination process by acid treatment on the chemical composition, structure, acidity and texture of the clinoptilolite in the volcanic tuff mined in the Mirsid deposits (Romania) was studied. A significant effect of the acid treatment duration on the zeolite properties was noticed the obtained product showing a specific area and porous volume higher than the starting material.
