Zr4+ metal‐organic frameworks (Zr‐MOFs), known for excellent stability and functionality, meet the synthetic challenge in tuning the strength of a Zr−Ocarboxylate linkage. This work explores the unusual coordination dynamics of a family of fluorinated Zr‐MOFs. The low‐connecting kinetic Zr‐MOFs possess dynamic behavior, thus opening a post‐synthetic pathway to sequential reassembly/disassembly. The factors, such as ligand geometry, etc., have been studied.
