Abstract
In this paper,we focus onthecorporate socialresponsibilityand sustainable developmentof local communities. With the law of July 12, 2010 (section 255 of the Act of 12 July 2010), local communities must now draw up, each year an annual report on their situation about sustainable development, integrating social, economic and environmental goals. And so, they are increasingly called to engage in the search for a new balance between economic, social and environmental issues. However, the environmental commitment which is one of the pillars of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is often designated as the major pillar or the only pillar of sustainable development(Rousseau 2008).Thereby, we are interested in the social dimension, which is often less taken into account rather than environmental dimension in the local community, to see the system set upin terms of social policy for agents and analyze whether the device is in a process of responsible Management (CSR / SD).Acase study of Castelnaucity hall, showed the social policy of this community in CSR. The results expose an analysis of the actions carried out in terms of training, recruitment, motivation, career management, health and safety, working conditions and remuneration of the community.Following the analysis, we conclude that the social policy of the City hall of Castelnauresponds globally to responsible management on several levels
