Abstract
Confirmation of the presence in France of Stenodema (Brachystira) trispinosa Reuter, 1904; recognition and biological elements (Hemiptera Miridae Mirinae). A study was conducted to improve the location of Stenodema (Brachystira) trispinosa in France. This species is well established in Seine estuary, it is confirmed in Pas-de-Calais region. It lives in two biotopes: reeds (Phragmites australis) and superior edge of slikke. Its favorites host plants are Phragmites australis and Bolboschoenus maritimus. S. trispinosa has two generations one in summer, one in autumn. It can be differentiated from S. calcarata by the number of spines on the hind femora and by the male genitalia structures that are illustrated for the first time. The coexistence of both species is discussed. Teratocoris antennatus and Teratocoris saundersi saundersi were observed in the Seine estuary. Presence of S. trispinosa and both Teratocoris species justify measures to protect that remarkable biotope.
