Abstract
A three-week mission took place in New Caledonia in October 2023, mainly to observe and collect Lauraceae, Rutaceae, Balanopaceae, Sapindaceae and Clusiaceae (Garcinia), currently under study. Other species were collected opportunistically through chance encounters in the field. Eighteen sites have been surveyed, each presented chronologically, with initial objectives, a list of collections made or observations of interest, and the main results obtained to date. Field photos are also provided for certain species of interest. At least fifteen new species were collected during this mission, enabling progress to be made on the description of several of them.
