Abstract
In this communication, we report on the self-assembly of DNA - cationic poly(3-hexylthiophene)s, which constitute promising (nano)materials for biomedical applications. By means of (chir)optical spectroscopy, we show that DNA and conjugated polymer chains self-assemble into chiral supramolecular duplex structures, which show specific induced circular dichroism signatures ruled by the DNA sequence and topology. Investigating the effects of temperature and molar ratio brings further understanding of their self-assembly and supramolecular organization.
