Résumé

Wet oxidative process used for the wastewater treatment was performed using bubble free ozone contacting with ceramic membranes. Ozone contacting with ceramic material was found to be better than conventional contacting methods. Wet oxidation was an alternative for waste water treatment which involved application of oxidants like chlorine, hydrogen peroxide or ozone. Pollutants were oxidized by these agents and then decomposed to less dangerous substances. This method was based on the cleaving of large pollutant molecules eventually reducing toxicity and the foam levels.
