Opinion no101 "Health, ethics and money" allows the National Consultative Ethics Committee to place special attention to confrontationalapproach between utilitarianism and "deontologism". The Committee agreed utilitarian attitude can help" to highlight the contradictory intereststhat pervade society" and offered some clarification to democratic debate. However, this committee doesn't give to utilitarianism a value equivalentto "deontologism", guarantor of unconditional value of the human person. c 2015 Published by Elsevier Masson SAS.
