Abstract
This paper focuses on the study of the meeting and seduction phase and of the access to loving and sexual relationships, from the experience of people with physical or sensorial impairments. With a theoretical background of the interactionist sociology, and sociology of body, especially the fundamental contributions of Erving Goffman, linked with a sociological approach of disability, this article analyses the conditions of production of disability situations in the love and sexual life. Using 26 life stories of adults living with impairment, life stories dealing with love life and couple life, the analysis focuses on the time of meeting and tries to put in light environmental, sociological and pysychological factors that product, or in contrary, allow to reduce situations of disability.
