Résumé

The human interferon-α receptor gene (IFN AR) has been assigned to the long arm of human chromosome 21 (report of the committee on the genetic constitution of chromosomes 20 and 21; Ref 1). The present report confirms the assignment and refines the mapping to the 21q22.1 band, using a cDNA probe for the human IFN AR gene and in situ hybridization to metaphase chromosomes.
