Résumé
It is widely accepted that the benefits of psychotherapy for mental health and quality of life depend on the psychologist, the patient and the quality of their relationship. If these observations remain true, recent interventional studies show that the psychotherapeutic method used counts as much, and more and more over sessions. The article invites psychotherapists to contribute more to the interventional and implementation studies to improve specific practices in oncology, maximize benefits for patients and differentiate themselves from unnecessary or even dangerous practices, spread by health professionals, social networks or media under influence.
